Artist's Statement
"I search and sometimes find a way through the confusion in our physical environment to 'a land of promise'. First making order out of disorder; arriving at an integrated visual plane; Expressing harmony instead of chaos.A contented mood, a happy place where all things once calm are possible. I seek the silence of the view so I can hear its deep vibrations. An area of no particular identity becomes a place of resonance whispering, murmuring its past history, its past and present people chanting, voices in unison.
The sense of place is what I am trying to capture, it's very tonal structure, its rhythm, its reach often to the sea and horizon."
